KAGEN CELEBRATES GREEN BAY’S OWN JAY DEMERIT

Homegrown member of the U.S Men’s Soccer Team to appear in World Cup

APPLETON, WI- Congressman Steve Kagen, M.D. made the following statement regarding the expected appearance of Green Bay’s own Jay DeMerit in the World Cup tournament in South Africa beginning with tomorrow’s game featuring the United States vs. Britain:

“If your eyes aren’t on the Appleton Flag Day parade tomorrow, they should be watching the U.S.A. Soccer team as they compete in the World Cup.

“ Wisconsin couldn’t be prouder of our own world-class, Jay DeMerit!”
