Listen to Congressman Kagen’s Tele-Town Hall Meeting from June 4, 2008
On June 4, 2008, nearly 9,000 residents of Brown and Outagamie counties had the opportunity to listen to Congressman Steve Kagen, M.D. discuss health care, veterans benefits, energy, bringing higher wage jobs back to Wisconsin and many other topics. They participated from the comfort of their own homes as part of Kagen’s Tele-Town Hall, an interactive forum that allows the Congressman to answer questions, listen to concerns and poll the audience live over the telephone. The Congressman was called to vote on the House floor several times during the forum but was able to continue answering constituents’ questions using this innovative technology. Over 200 people requested to ask the Congressman a question and close to 20 were able to do so live during the one hour program. Below are some sound clips from Tele-Town Hall Click on them to listen.
