Kagen to Sponsor Small Business Growth Seminar

KAGEN  TO  SPONSOR  SMALL BUSINESS  GROWTH  SEMINAR

APPLETON, WI – Congressman Steve Kagen, M.D, will sponsor a one-day seminar on growing and developing small business on Friday, May 7 at the  Richard & Margot Warch Campus Center at Lawrence University.

Government Contracting and Financing for Small Business will provide ideas and guidance for area small businesses looking to take advantage of opportunities for partnering with government. 

Small Business Administration district director Eric Ness and representatives from the Wisconsin Procurement Institute will discuss techniques for obtaining government contracts.

Area bank representatives will also be on hand to review financing options.  Lenders urge seminar participants to provide detailed business plans to get the best assistance.

This event is free.  Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Julie Esch Hurvis Room, with sessions continuing until 4 p.m.

1:00pm – 4:00pm-Financial Matchmaking: Businesses get opportunity to meet with lenders to review financing options
